Macedon Grove lies at the foot of Mount Macedon in Gisborne Victoria, Australia.
Our small grove, of around 700 trees, are grown organically. We are fully certified by AUSTRALIAN CERTIFIED ORGANIC (A.C.O.). We use only the very best available natural fertilisers.

No chemicals are used in our grove.
Being only a small grove we can look after our trees with the loving care they deserve.

All our olives are hand- picked to avoid any damage and processed immediately to avoid any spoilage.

Any fruit purchased is subject to strict organic guidelines and control.

Our Commitment to use the very best organic methods, from the first day of tree planting to presentation of finished gourmet products has remained our ultimate focus.
Our olives are hand-picked and prepared without pesticides or other chemicals. They are then washed and left to ferment before being hand-bottled. Each jar is individually filled with the freshest ingredients.
The process is deliberately slow and labour intensive. However, once you have tasted the delicious flavours of organically grown table olives, you’ll agree that it’s worth this extra effort.

Cool Climate Olives
It is currently becoming recognised that Cool-climate olives have a more intense flavour than olives grown further north in Australia. This is due in part to the slower ripening that takes place. Australia has some of the highest u. v. rates in the world. In warmer climates the skin will  darken and colour before the flesh. This can result in unripe flesh, despite the olive looking ripe from the outside. We do not have this problem as Macedon Grove is at an altitude of over 420 metres above sea level.
